Welcome to Frankee D. Therapy

“You will love again the stranger who was your self.”
— Derek Walcott

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist, AMFT# 146616 registered in the state of California, supervised by Christina Viani, LMFT#104409.

Let’s get into the details

I believe in the power of genuine, non-judgmental therapy—where you can show up as you are and be met with empathy, curiosity, and understanding. My approach blends deep exploration with humor and relatability, allowing us to uncover patterns, process emotions, and move toward healing in a way that feels natural and supportive.

My expertise includes working with individuals navigating grief and loss, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, anxiety disorders, and addiction. With a background in community mental health, I have worked with a diverse range of clients, each with their own unique stories and needs. What remains constant in my work is my passion for building a trusting and collaborative therapeutic relationship—because true healing happens when you feel seen, heard, and valued.

What to Expect

Therapy with me is not one-size-fits-all. I tailor each session to your individual experiences, goals, and comfort level. Whether you are seeking deep self-exploration, coping strategies, or a space to process life's ups and downs, we will work together to create meaningful change. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and empowering space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors without fear of judgment.

My Background

I earned my Bachelor’s in Sociology from the University of Memphis and Master’s in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in 2023. Since then, I have been living and practicing as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) in Santa Barbara, working with individuals from all walks of life to navigate the complexities of mental health, relationships, and personal growth.

If you’re ready to begin your journey toward healing and self-discovery, I would love to connect.
