Individual Therapy
In individual therapy sessions expect a compassionate and non-judgmental environment as we work together to navigate challenges and promote self-discovery.
What to Expect:
Personalized Support: Together, we’ll explore what’s going on in your life, identify patterns that may be holding you back, and develop strategies to move forward.
Coping Skills: Therapy provides tools to manage stress, anxiety, and emotional struggles. You’ll learn coping techniques tailored to your specific needs.
Empowerment: Therapy is not just about resolving problems; it’s also about empowering you to understand yourself more deeply and make changes that support your well-being.
Therapeutic Modalities: Depending on your needs, I might use techniques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Person-centered, or other therapeutic approaches to help you achieve your goals.
Couples Therapy
Relationships can be both deeply rewarding and challenging. Whether you're facing communication difficulties, trust issues, or navigating life transitions, couples therapy provides a space to reconnect, heal, and grow together. Couples therapy is designed to help partners understand each other more deeply and strengthen their emotional connection.
What to Expect:
Improved Communication: Many relationship struggles stem from miscommunication. In therapy, you'll learn tools to communicate more effectively and express your needs in a way your partner can understand.
Conflict Resolution: Every couple faces disagreements, but how those conflicts are managed makes all the difference. I work with couples to develop healthy conflict resolution skills and break unhelpful patterns.
Rebuilding Trust: If trust has been broken in your relationship, therapy provides a structured process for rebuilding that trust and fostering forgiveness.
Emotional Connection: Therapy helps partners reconnect emotionally, addressing feelings of disconnection or loneliness that may have developed over time.
Therapeutic Modalities: I may use techniques from Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method, or other approaches to guide you toward a stronger, more connected relationship.
Children/Teen Therapy
Adolescence can be a challenging time filled with emotional and social changes. Therapy offers a supportive environment where teens can express their thoughts and feelings without judgment. Whether it’s struggles with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, or school and family issues, I work closely with adolescents to help them navigate these challenges.
What to Expect:
Safe and Supportive Space: Teens are often dealing with a wide range of emotions. In therapy, they’ll have a non-judgmental space to talk about what’s on their mind, whether it’s school stress, peer relationships, or self-image.
Skill Building: We’ll work on building emotional resilience and coping strategies to manage stress, anxiety, and other overwhelming emotions.
Understanding and Growth: Adolescents will gain better insight into their emotions and behaviors, helping them to develop healthier relationships and a stronger sense of self.
Collaborative Approach: Therapy for teens often involves collaboration with parents when appropriate, ensuring that the family is part of the healing process.
